The Talisker. I like the name! A 21 foot steam launch, it looks as though it would be more at home on Lake Windermere than on the North Sea. It has all the appearance of a classic Victorian boat, but was actually built in 1998. It's a very authentic replica, though - an iroko keel, strip planked in cedar and a teak deck with iroko coaming. The twin cylinder engine generates 7 horsepower at 500 rpm and the coal fired, steel boiler has a working pressure of 150psi.
